About Us
ContractorsU is a Utah company and a commercial continuing education provider specializing in providing Utah DOPL-Licensed Contractors with CD-Rom courses so they may satisfy their 6-hour continuing education requirements. We specialize in providing programs and continuing education courses focused exclusively on the construction and trade industry.
One of ContractorsU founders, Alissa Owen, is a Civil Engineer and an attorney with experience in construction and intellectual property law. In her law practice, she focuses on construction-related innovations, and represents Contractor-clients in protecting their construction-based inventions and intellectual property. She is an on-call Administrative Law Judge for Park City, where she was hired to adjudicate building code violations. Salt Lake Community College hired her to develop a curriculum for and teach contractor continuing education courses. She has done so since January 2007.
Judy Fackrell is in charge of business development, marketing and ContractorsU content development. As a realtor, Judy comes with a wealth of experience in selling homes and understanding and appreciating the fine handiwork of contractors.
Lisa Dalgleish comes to us with a commercial recreation management degree and is a former events planner for Marriott International. She knows how to keep clients happy and a business running.
